First visit on friends recommendation. Dining area very spacious but please do not have the tv on!! There was only us in there for the first hour and I had to ask three times for the tv to be tuned off or the volume down. There was no sporting event on and so no need for it. When other diners came in it was put back on but lower volume. Food however was delicious from starters to the mains. Good portion sizes too. Servce also good. We will be back..
I’ve had what I’ve ordered hundreds of times from all over the country, creamier than normal but great taste, lamb fell apart, the most tender I’ve had for years
Superb food, whichever menu choice you make, polite and friendly staff, reasonable prices, a great atmosphere when the dining area is busy and private when it's not. (Food is also served in the bar.). My favourite Bearwood venue for a curry or a mixed grill (that could feed two people). Excellent value for money and I very highly recommend a visit.

The Nepali chefs at this gaff are cooking up some Of the best curry this side of Birmingham and that’s coming from a Punjabi !! The food here to me rates better than the soho tavern / copper fox / hen and chicken etc There’s a new desi pub on the block and it’s relatively undiscovered !
Difficult to find really good authentic Indian food around Netherton. Misses recommended we try the Abbey. What a good idea!! It was quiet inside on a Saturday afternoon, which played into our hands, we were looked after like Kings and Queens, everything was catered for, even the kids requirements. The food is absolutely top notch. Spicing was perfect, all food piping hot to the table. An absolute must if you fancy Indian food, great service and very reasonable prices. And a table tennis table outside.
